Hotel Guests are Less Satisfied in 2008

J.D. Power & Associates, in its 12th hotel guest satisfaction study, surveyed 53,000 guests who occupied hotel rooms between May 2007 to June 2008.  According to their article, the study suggests that hotel guests are less satisfied in 2008.  In addition, common complaint issues include Internet connection problems and parking.

The article suggests that the decreased satisfaction level may be due to the economy.  Guests might be staying in lower segments than they are used to and have higher expectations.
