  • More than 50% of respondents plan to increase the amount of time and resources dedicated to social media within the next 12 months
  • 44% of respondents have a dedicated social media person on staff
  • 86% of respondents use social media for Sales & Marketing activities
  • While 89% of respondents use Facebook, only 17% use deal sharing websites such as Groupon
  • 63% of respondents use social media to improve customer loyalty, while only 49% use it to try and increase sales
